In the 1800 century the Sussex spaniel was created in Sussex. Sussex is a place in England. No one knows perfectly about the history of the Sussex spaniel but people say that it was the result of the mix of the hounds and spaniels. After the second world war the Sussex spaniel really became obsolete in Europe. But it was gradually saved and now also the breed is really less in numbers.
