IDENTIFY THE DIFFERENT PARTS OF PLANT 



Grouping of plants
Plants with similar external features can be put in the same group

Group 1 : These plants have flowers. They are flowering plants.
Hibiscus Plant
An Orchid Plant
A Frangipani Plant




Group 2 : These plants have no flowers They are non flowering plants.

Moss

Fern




Group 3 : These plants have woody stems.


Lavatera plant


Poinsettia plant
                                                                           
Group 4 : These plants have soft stems.

Papaya tree
Isotretinoin Plant ( A kind of Herb)
Group 5 : These plants have leaves with smooth and shiny surfaces

Pandanus Plant
Yam Plant
Group 6 : These plants have oval shaped leaves

Spirea Plant

Mandevilla Plant


Group 7 : These plants have leaves with rough surfaces

Balsam Plant

Sunflower Plant
Group 8 : These plants have leaves of irregular shapes

Exercise 1
Aim : To group plants according to their similarities
List the external features of these plants in a table.
