Sea Birds - Emperor Penguins

They're not known for their grace on land but as these stunning pictures show, for penguins life really is better down where it's wetter.
There they come into their element.
Far from their stereotypical waddle the sea birds glide elegantly through the ocean, perfectly streamlined.
In the collection of photographs, published in the November issue of National Geographic, the emperor penguins slide along ice, slipping in and out of the water with ease.
Captured in the full glory of their natural habitat, they show off their fun-loving sides as they dive effortlessly around their icy home and surf on their bellies.
